Estimated Sum of Your Payments

1.Employees' Pension Insurance

Employees' Pension Insurance (厚生年金, こうせいねんきん) covers people who are employed by companies.
Foreign people employed by companies in Japan will contribute to this system.
To contributors of Employees' Pension Insurance, the following formula is applied for Lump-sum Withdrawal Payments.

If you had been enrolled in Employees' Pension Insurance for more than 6 months,
(Your Average Standard Remuneration) * (Benefit Multiplier)

Next, following tables show only some calculated examples of estimated sum of Lump-sum Payments.
The accurate sum you will receive must be calculated with your own informantion.

"Average Standard Remuneration" will be calculated with the average of your salaries/remunerations plus your bonuses you receive between the period you pay your pension.
It is possible that it is different than the supposed sum of salaries/remunerations and bonuses you think you get. So be careful when you see tabels below.

"Benefit Multiplier" is a variable that varies every year according to both number of coverage months you contribute pension and when the last month of your contribution is. So be careful when you see tables, too.

(EXAMPLE) In the case that the last month of payment is between Sep. 2011 and Aug. 2012

2.National Pension

National Pension (国民年金,こくみんねんきん) is the basic pension which covers people not employed by companies or public offices, that is, for example, the self-employed pesrons.
Lump-sum Payments of National Pension vary, like Employees' Pension, according to both number of coverage months you contribute pension and when the last month of your contribution is. The following table shows the Lump-sum Payments if the last month of contributioin is between Apr. 2010 and Mar.2011.
